A benchmark of Australian cool-climate Shiraz from Craiglee, the historic Sunbury estate dating to the 1860s and revived by Pat and Dianne Carmody in 1976. Recognised as a 10-Star Winery by acclaimed critic Campbell Mattinson, Craiglee is celebrated for producing some of Victoria's most distinctive and age-worthy Shiraz.
Awarded 96 points by Jane Faulkner (Halliday Wine Companion), the 2022 vintage delivers blackberry, dark plum, black pepper, smoked meats and savoury spice, with fine tannins and vibrant acidity. Elegant, complex and beautifully balanced, with impressive cellaring potential.
Craiglee Shiraz has graced the wine lists of celebrated Australian restaurants including Bistro Guillaume at Crown Melbourne and Bathers' Pavilion in Sydney. A compelling alternative to richer Australian Shiraz, offering remarkable pedigree and refinement.
