Warning Under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 it is an offence to supply alcohol to a person under 18 years (penalty exceeds $24,000) and for a person under 18years to purchase or receive alcohol (penalty exceeds $1,000).

Willsmere Cellars must abide by these regulations and uphold the following delivery standards:

First-time customers 

When purchasing via the Willsmere Cellars website, you verify that you are 18 years of age and can provide evidence upon delivery. All first time customers must confirm they are 18 years or older and the delivery must be to the person who placed the order. 

Purchasing Gifts

If you are purchasing a gift for friends or family, you must provide the recipients name and address. The delivery driver will only complete the delivery if the recipient or someone aged 18 years or older can be verified.

Willsmere Cellars preferred courier services are Anonymous Wine Freight and Australia Post. Please allow for the following delivery times at a minimum and note that timeframes may increase during peak periods and public holidays. All orders via courier services will be provided with tracking links when the order is confirmed. 

Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane Metro:  1-3 Business Days

Adelaide, Canberra Metro: 2-5 Business Days

VIC, NSW, ACT, QLD Outer + Regional: 3-10 Business Days

Where orders do not qualify for free shipping the below rates are applied at checkout.

• VIC - $16 up to 6 bottles (<8kg) / $20 for 7-12 bottles (>8kg)
• NSW, ACT, SA - $23 up to 6 bottles (<8kg) / $30 for 7-12 bottles (>8kg)
• QLD - $30 up to 6 bottles (<8kg)
• Heavy / Bulky Items (13+ bottles or 16kg+) attract a higher rate

*Free Shipping for Local orders of $100 or more for residents in Kew, Kew East, Balwyn North, Hawthorn, Deepdene, Clifton Hill, Collingwood, Fitzroy, Fitzroy North, East Melbourne and Carlton.

**Free Shipping for orders of $250 or more for VIC, SA, ACT and NSW for 12 bottles or less

***Heavy / Bulky items - Free Shipping for orders of $300 or more  (13+ bottles or 16kg+)

****For all QLD orders the maximum quantity is 6 bottles 

Direct shipping via the Willsmere Cellars website is currently limited to the states of VIC, SA, NSW and ACT, with a maximum of 6 bottles for QLD only. If you are outside these delivery constraints or zones, please CONTACT US with your request. Depending on the value of your order and location, shipping costs may be waived or discounted.

If in the event your products are damaged during transit and your postcode is within our preferred third party couriers delivery zone, your products are covered up to $1000 AUD without any additional charge.  

All other deliveries outside these postcodes will be booked with Australia Post, who only cover up the value of $100 unless additional insurance is purchased. Australia Post parcel insurance (Extra Cover) costs $2.50 for each additional $100 of value for within Australia. 

Sometimes mistakes happen and sometimes a wine can be faulty, Willsmere Cellars have the below policies.

Incorrect wine or vintage has been received

If the team at Willsmere Cellars have made a shipping error, please email info@willsmerecellars.com.au
and the team will provide you with instructions on returning the goods via courier at no additional cost. 

If you change your mind

In the event you change your mind on a purchase or made an error and ordered the wrong item, please contact us to discuss returning the products for a store credit. Additional freight charges to return the goods will be the responsibility of the consumer.

Faulty Wine

Some wines under natural cork can have obvious faults such as Cork Taint or TCA. Please return the bottle back to Willsmere Cellars for our team to identify or confirm the issue if it is faulty. The bottle must be no less than two thirds full and evidence of purchase from the store must be provided. Willsmere Cellars will keep records of all online purchases or purchases made in store on your account. A credit can be arranged from our supplier and a Willsmere Cellars store credit can be provided.
