Ekin Wines Gamay 2025
A wonderfully vibrant, small-batch Gamay from South Australia's Adelaide Hills, EKIN Gamay 2025 is bursting with juicy raspberries, blueberries, red cherries and violets, with hints of liquorice, white pepper and delicate spice. Fresh, fragrant and beautifully textured, with lively acidity and a deliciously refreshing finish.
Selected among the top six wines in Young Gun of Wine's Australian Gamay blind tasting, this exciting release is hand-harvested from two vineyards, wild-fermented with 25% whole bunches and matured for ten months in seasoned French oak.
Founded in 2021 by vineyard veterans Brad and Mark, EKIN began when the pair rescued exceptional grapes that would otherwise have gone to waste.
A deliciously approachable alternative to Pinot Noir or Beaujolais.Â
