A magnificent 20-year-old Marsala from Sicily's oldest family-owned Marsala producer, Curatolo Arini Riserva Storica celebrates an extraordinary winemaking heritage dating to 1875.
Crafted from the indigenous Grillo and Catarratto grapes and matured for a minimum of 20 years in Slavonian and French oak, this exceptional fortified wine reveals layers of dried apricot, dates, toasted almonds, caramel and warming spice, with a beautifully savoury, lingering finish.
Founded by Vito Curatolo Arini, the historic estate is renowned for its original Art Nouveau labels, commissioned from celebrated Sicilian architect Ernesto Basile in the 1880s.
Rich, complex and elegantly balanced, this is a remarkable alternative to aged Sherry or Tawny Port. Enjoy lightly chilled with aged cheese, almond pastries or dark chocolate.
