A vibrant, Italian-inspired red from the pioneering Chalmers family, who introduced Nero d’Avola vines to Australia in 2000, helping transform the country's alternative grape landscape. Grown on the rocky, mineral-rich slopes of their Heathcote vineyard, this Sicilian variety has found an exciting Australian home.
Bright raspberry, juicy cherry, violets and dark berries meet savoury herbs, earthy spice and fine, refreshing tannins. Wild-fermented in stainless steel, this is a beautifully expressive, food-friendly red with an irresistible freshness.
