Jericho Fortified Touriga Nacional 2023 500ml
A remarkable single-vintage fortified wine showcasing the richness and intensity of Portugal's noble Touriga Nacional grape. Deeply concentrated yet beautifully balanced, Jericho 2023 reveals layers of dried dates, dark berries, molasses, black tea and exotic spice, with a luxurious velvety texture and lingering finish.
Awarded 96 points by Marcus Ellis (Halliday Wine Companion), who praised its exceptional quality and remarkable ageing potential, this limited-release fortified is a superb expression of Australian Touriga Nacional.
Producer notes
Made from the Touriga Nacional variety, the traditional grape of great Portuguese vintage ports. Complex and elegant characters of brandy spirit, tannins, black fruit and light oak combine to produce this wine of great length and longevity. Blackberry jam and fragrance of violets lift the aromas of the wine. The palate is well balanced with rounded acidity and provides structure and roundness with great texture and finish to a well crafted vintage Touriga fortified.
